The people and work behind your business.

You know your business from the inside. I look for the photographs that help someone else understand it: who they will meet, where you work and the care that goes into what you make. We start with where you need the images, then decide what belongs in them.

From my building-site series: scaffolding, brickwork and materials. These are examples of how I photograph a place and its details; a business portrait or team series is not published here yet.

The place and the detail.

An overview shows the space. A close-up brings the materials forward. These photographs from my building-site series show the difference.

The place

The scaffold poles and walkway draw your eye into the distance.

The material

Up close, the brick, mortar and texture become the subject.

Your photoshoot

Before, during and after the shoot.

  1. The image list

Where will the photographs appear? We make a short list and plan the people, location and timing. A homepage, profile and company update may each need different images.

  2. On location

We work from that list, with room to see what the place calls for. For portraits, I give direction; you do not need to rehearse poses.

  3. The edit

I work on the agreed selection, paying attention to colour, light and framing. We agree the number of photographs, files and delivery beforehand.

The guide helps you make an image list and prepare your workplace and people.

Prepare your business photoshoot

What we can photograph

  • Portraits of you and your team
  • Your workplace, activities and the details of your work
  • Images composed for your website, profiles or social posts

Your photographs and our agreement

  • A selected, edited set with consistent colour
  • Files sized for your website, plus high-resolution versions
  • Additional social-media crops, if agreed

We agree the subjects, number of images, delivery, usage rights and price before the shoot. If a designer is working on your website, their image dimensions can help us plan the photographs.

Before you book

What does a business photoshoot cost?

The price depends on the subjects and people involved, locations, editing and how you will use the photographs. Send your idea, location and timing. We agree the work, number of edited images, delivery and any additional costs before you book.

Business photography or personal branding: which do I need?

If people choose your business because of you, we can put you and your way of working at the centre of the images. For a wider team or company, the emphasis may be on several people, activities and locations. The intended use matters more than the label.

Is this suitable for a small business?

Yes. We can concentrate on the photographs you need first: your workspace, a few portraits or images for particular pages of your website.

Can you photograph us during the working day?

We plan around the people and activities involved. Tell me when the work you want to show takes place and whether any areas have restricted access.

Can we plan recurring shoots?

We can discuss several shoots around your need for new photographs. Frequency, the work involved and price are agreed together.
