How we work together
This is what we discuss before I start your photography or website project. The specific arrangements for your project belong in the quote or project confirmation.
Start with your idea
Tell me what you would like made and what it is for. For a shoot, the subject, location and a date or period are useful. For a website, you can share your current site, audience and the pages you need. You can get in touch even if some details are still undecided.
The work and the price
We discuss the work involved and what is included: preparation, photography or website development, editing, feedback and delivery. The price, any additional costs and payment arrangements form part of the agreement for your project.
For a photoshoot
We agree what will be photographed, where the shoot takes place and how you want to use the images. We also discuss selection, editing, file formats and the delivery date and method beforehand. If you need images quickly, mention that deadline in your inquiry.
Use the business photoshoot guide to put together a short subject list.
For a website
We discuss the pages, writing, images, languages and features you need. Domain, hosting, publication and later changes should also be clear before we begin. New photography can be discussed as part of the project.
Using the photographs
Tell me where you would like to use the images: on a website, social media, in print or in a campaign, for example. We discuss the intended use and any publication in my portfolio as part of the project. Mention any people, locations or other parties for which permission is needed.
If plans change
Let me know as soon as a date, location or part of the project changes. We can discuss what this means for the schedule, the work and any costs. Cancellation, rescheduling and delivery arrangements are agreed for each project.
