A note on this series
I gave the same white BMW M4 three different settings: a lake, a mountain road and a forest. With the car and crop held steady, you can compare what the background and colour do to the photograph.
What I look for
A consistent crop makes the changes easy to compare. Cool blue surroundings emphasise the white bodywork; the warmer forest version brings a different balance of light and colour.
